Here is your awesome list of 10 competition possibilities!

It is never too early to get started forming your awards committee! Click on the links to learn more about each competition (please do note: the entry deadlines are on each website I have indicated here. I recommend that you confirm all dates on the competition websites!):

1. Excellence in Flexography- entry deadline Jan 25 2017

“As the world’s most prestigious and longest-running annual print competition of its kind, the annual Excellence in Flexography Awards has one aim: to salute flexography’s finest work. Each year hundreds of entries pour in from all corners of the globe to be evaluated and scored by our prominent panel of judges.” Taken from the website.

2. TLMI – entry deadline June 15 2017

“The TLMI Annual Awards Competition aims to stimulate innovative printing and to recognize technical achievement in all areas of the narrow web industry, including tags and labels, cartons, flexible packaging, non-woven pressure-sensitives and more. The competition recognizes and honors the finest efforts of our converter members throughout the previous12-month period. All Converter Members are encouraged to enter the competition. There are competition divisions for both North American members and International members. Submissions are accepted in dozens of categories.” Taken from the website.

3. PAC – 2017 Global Leadership Awards – closed for 2017 competition. Stay tuned for 2018 competition updates.

“The 2017 Global Leadership Awards Competition is open to all packages designed, manufactured and in market after January 1, 2015. The entries are to be submitted ONLINE, and the target entrants are: retailers, brand owners, branding and design agencies, package container and technology processors, and raw material manufacturers.” Taken from the website.

4. Dupont Awards – entry deadline Feb 10 2017

“This awards program is an international, independently-judged competition that honors innovations in packaging design, materials, technology, and processes across the entire packaging value chain. Inaugurated in 1986, the DuPont Packaging Awards program is recognized globally as the leading packaging awards program.” Taken from the website.

5. The Dieline – entry deadline Feb 7 2017

“Dieline Awards are an international design competition recognizing the world’s best consumer product packaging design. Now in its 7th year, The Dieline Awards 2016 has gathered a highly esteemed jury of structural packaging, design, branding, and consumer product experts. 6. The Pentawards – entry deadline April 7 2017

“Created in January 2007, the Pentawards are recognized as the most prestigious worldwide competition exclusively devoted to packaging design in all its forms. They are open to all those who are associated with the creation or marketing of packaging from every country in the world. 8. Premier Print Awards – Begins Feb 2017

10. PAC Canadian Leadership awards – entry deadline Jan 30 2017

I am a judge at the 2017 PAC Canadian Leadership Awards again this year and look forward to welcoming your entry. It is an international competition. Calling all USA and international printers: here is your opportunity to strut your stuff in Canada!

“The PAC Canadian Leadership Awards Competition is open to all packages or processes, designed, manufactured and sold anywhere in the world. It is not limited to Canadian companies, and must be in market after January 1, 2015. Typically, the entries come from retailers, brand owners, branding and design agencies, package container and technology processors, and raw material manufacturers.”
